ZEN
For several years now, architecture has been tending more and more towards the refinement of forms and the increase of glazing surfaces. Instead designed for a more traditional aesthetic, wood and wood-aluminum windows no longer meet the requirements of industry professionals as much.
Today, we are proud to introduce Zen, a window designed from the ground up to meet today’s architectural requirements.
- Timeless beauty : The sleek design and absence of glazing beads, combined with the warmth of wood, give it a sleek contemporary appearance.
- The leaf is entirely concealed behind the frame; Thus, from the outside, it is impossible to distinguish an opening window from a fixed one.
- More light, less wood : with its minimalist proportions, the width of Zen’s sections rivals that of aluminum windows.
- With a glazing rebate of up to 58mm and a frame depth of 90mm, Zen offers more than enviable performance, up to 0.78W/m2K.
- With its multi-point mechanism, Zen enjoys the optimal performance of waterproofing, air permeability and wind resistance inherent in tilt-and-turn windows.
- The optional aluminum cladding not only allows you to dress the outside of your windows in any color imaginable, but it also protects the wood surfaces from the elements.
CLASSIQ
If Zen was designed to blend perfectly with the trends of the day, Classiq reminds us of the beauty of the windows of yesteryear. As comfortable in a log cabin in the Laurentians and in a colonial architecture residence as on a heritage façade in Old Quebec, Classiq combines an attention to detail specific to the craftsmen of yesteryear with remarkable performances.
- With 78mm deep frames, Classiq can accommodate triple glazing of up to 52mm, allowing for a U-value of 0.83 W/m2K.
- The frames are made from laminated timber (4 ply), dried and grain against grain. Benefiting from a 4-stage finish in the factory, in the aqueous phase, the profiles are encapsulated and protected by a resistant envelope, allowing the migration of moisture and having the necessary elasticity to stretch freely with the expansion of the wood.
- With its traditional glazing bead and 25mm moulded tiles, Classiq is able to recreate the paned window of yesteryear. By adding spacers between the glasses, we have the impression that they are real tiles, each and every one with a different glass.
- With its multi-point mechanism, Classiq enjoys the optimal performance of impermeability, air permeability and wind resistance inherent in tilt-and-turn windows.
- The optional aluminum cladding not only allows you to dress the outside of your windows in any color imaginable, but it also protects the wood surfaces from the elements.
KLIMAT
Certified by the PassivHaus Institute, Klimat comes in two versions: Klimat Cool certified for cool and temperate climates, while Klimat Cold is certified for cold climates.
Able to take as much sleek and contemporary shapes as traditional as it does, Klimat offers an unparalleled level of performance capable of adapting to all styles.
- With 78mm deep wooden frames, its insulating layer of polystyrene foam and its 48mm triple glazing, Klimat is capable of a Uw value of 0.61 W/m2K.
- The frames are made from laminated wood (4 ply), dried and grain-to-grain.
