MHI veterans house

Veterans’ Residence

Multifaith Housing Initiative (MHI) Veterans’ Residence: The Andy Carswell Building is Canada’s first-ever community housing project specifically designed for Veterans. Located on the former Rockcliffe Air Force Base, this three-story, 40-unit apartment building provides affordable, safe and healthy housing for veterans.

The building has been designed to meet Passive House standards. Energy modelling shows that the building will achieve a 43% reduction in energy consumption and a 57% reduction in carbon emissions compared to the 2015 NECB reference model. This was achieved through a super-insulated, watertight building envelope, optimization of mechanical systems, and extensive commissioning.

Urban Renewal in Montreal

Urban Residence

Our renovation project in Montreal has transformed this urban residence. The addition of floor-to-ceiling windows gives it a whole new look, flooding the interior spaces with natural light while providing striking views of the city. At the heart of this exceptional construction stands an impressive 21-foot lift-and-slide door.

But that’s not all. We have also installed triple glazing, acting as a noise barrier against the hustle and bustle of the city. From now on, this house is a real haven of peace in the heart of the urban effervescence.
