Paspébiac Residence

Nestled in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula, this project by NZP Fenestration is a true haven of peace. With its modern and refined design, it highlights generous windows that open the space to the surrounding nature. Each window has been designed to maximize natural light and comfort, while ensuring exceptional energy performance, even in the harsh winters of the region.

Massif Charlevoix

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Charlevoix, this residence—currently pursuing PassivHaus certification—embodies excellence in energy efficiency. NZP Fenestration supplied high-performance windows that blend seamlessly with the home’s refined aesthetic while meeting the rigorous demands of the passive standard. The project’s complex volumetry, combined with the architectural constraints of the Chalets-Forêt at Le Massif, made the certification challenge all the more remarkable. Every element—from the ultra-efficient envelope to the building’s orientation—has been carefully designed to deliver year-round comfort with minimal energy use.

Sutton

This beautiful project in Sutton offers breathtaking views of the surrounding nature and stands out with its warm, cozy atmosphere. Sutton

Potton YH2 house

When designing this residence in Potton, it was crucial to align aesthetics with comfort. The impressive 10.5-foot-high windows posed a thermal challenge both in summer and winter. Thanks to our triple glazing with ratings up to R11.4, we successfully met the challenge.

La Cime

As seen in La Presse: “When I go up to the kitchen at night to get some water, thanks to the gigantic windows in the living room, I can see the moon and the stars in the darkness, and I take the time to sit on the couch and watch this spectacle.” A moment suspended between sky and earth. […] “With floor-to-ceiling windows, it feels like you’re floating in the air,” says Samy Morneau. On both sides of the home, nature seems to invite itself inside, which also leads the guests of La Cime to enjoy a private Scandinavian-inspired spa with a thermal bath and an outdoor shower on a terrace on the first floor.”

Bright Haus #1 – Affordable Home

Certification: Passive House Low Energy Building (Note: Bright Haus’ design achieves Passive House Classic or Plus certification when properly oriented and unshaded. In its first iteration, it was turned 90 degrees to the east and partially shaded by a nearby multi-family building, reducing the certification to Low Energy Building.)

When the client approached us to build their chalet at Lac Sergent, aesthetics and performance were at the heart of the discussions. Thanks to our Passivhaus certified windows, we were able to provide large glass surfaces while ensuring optimal interior comfort. The result is a chalet that combines elegance, brightness, and energy efficiency, perfectly meeting the client’s expectations.

Passive House Saltbox

Located in Bromont, Maison Saltbox is much more than just a residence, it is a living example of sustainability and innovation. Its design and construction were so exceptional that they were the subject of a five-part web micro-series, broadcast in the fall of 2020 by Écohabitation.

MHI veterans house

The building has been designed to meet Passive House standards. Energy modelling shows that the building will achieve a 43% reduction in energy consumption and a 57% reduction in carbon emissions compared to the 2015 NECB reference model. This was achieved through a super-insulated, watertight building envelope, optimization of mechanical systems, and extensive commissioning.
